A local shoemaker has recently discovered some of his best shoes have vanished from his workshop in Sheffield City Centre and is appealing for local support to try and find them. 'They've done this to me before, the elves, and I suppose they think it's some sort of joke, but I don't think it's at all funny', says local shoemaker, 24 from Hillsborough. Shoemaker continues, 'I makeshoes for some pretty famous clients, the people of Sheffield will know them well.  If we don't find the missing shoes by tonight there's going to be some pretty angry celebrities walking around in socks at the Snowball disco'.

Dusty Springfield was without doubt the finest white soul singer of her era - for millions she was the definitive pop diva. Her lifestyle was the stuff of legend – and great drama.

With her relentless quest for perfection and refusal to compromise, Dusty Springfield led a tortured life. Her stage   persona – extravagant black mascara and back combed

hair – was at odds with the quiet, shy convent girl, Mary O’Brien, and her sexuality. The result was a downward spiral of drugs, alcohol-abuse and self-harm but despite all that she produced tremendous music, which still ranks as some of the finest of its kind.

The story is as valid today as it was in the 1960’s by documenting the transient effects of fame and the damage it can do.

In Stoke on Trent in the early seventies, a young Gordon Hendricks played to an imaginary crowd. Harmonizing his voice to a constant soundtrack, played on repeat by his sisters. The

music was Rock n Roll. The Artist was Elvis.

Little did he know then that his performance in his potteries home would lead to a phenomenal career impersonating The King, working with his legendary musicians in years to come.

Karaoke led to ITV’s ‘Stars in their Eyes’ where he rose from runner-up to series champion winning by a record number of votes. Watched by 12 million viewers astounded by their ears

and eyes. And it wasn’t just the public. Elvis’ own songwriter Geoff Morrow was watching.Touched by Gordon’s voice that “recaptured the spirit of the song”, Geoff signed Gordon to

his label and the two recorded and released “Where Will I Be”, a song originally written for Elvis.

Gordon’s received many accolades. The greatest being crowned ‘Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artiste Champion 2017’ on stage at Graceland for the second time, competing against global artists.He’s toured the world and now he’s coming home. ‘The King’s Voice” tour transports you through time from the ‘68 special through to the Vegas era, breathing soul into ballads and those iconic jumpsuit numbers that set the stage on fire. Join us aboard the S.S. American cruise liner, where nightclub singer Reno Sweeney is en-route from New York to England. Her pal Billy Crocker has stowed away to be near his love, Hope Harcourt, but the problem is Hope is engaged to the wealthy Lord Evelyn Oakleigh. Joining this love triangle are Public Enemy 13, Moonface Martin and his sidekick-in-crime Erma. With the help of some elaborate disguises, tap-dancing sailors and good old-fashioned blackmail, Reno and Martin join forces to help Billy in his quest to win Hope’s heart.  

Anything Goes is a fast-paced comedy musical that takes you back to the Golden Age of high society on the high seas. Cole Porter wrote the music and lyrics for this production which includes some of the most iconic songs including I Get A Kick Out of You, De-Lovely and of course the title song Anything Goes.

This Liverpool based "beat combo" are the youngest ever Beatles band to gain a residency at the Cavern Club in Liverpool where they perform every Thursday and Saturday, packing the club out and creating a unique Beatles vibe. All four members are accomplished multi-instrumentalists allowing them to span right across The Beatles recording history from Please Please Me right through to Let it Be

Having performed at international Beatle week for the last 3 years running The lads have been invited to return again for 2024 and are also taking their extended show to theatres across the UK.
